Beckham draws big crowds in Dallas


Mike Woitalla of Soccer America recaps the attendance this past weekend in Major League Soccer.

FC Dallas drew its biggest crowd of the season on Sunday night when David Beckham and the Los Angeles Galaxy came to town. It was one of four games in Week 7 action to break the 20,000 mark.

* A crowd of 21,867, nearly twice as big as FC Dallas last home-game attendance, watched the home team down Los Angeles, 2-1.

* Seattle celebrated its biggest win of the season, a 3-0 win over Toronto, in front of 36,287 at Qwest Field.

* The Houston Dynamo drew 20,577 for its Friday night 4-1 win over D.C. United.
