Americans in UEFA Champions League
Only nine American-born and -bred players have played in the UEFA Champions League proper since its launch in 1992.
The farthest an American has gone in the Champions League is DaMarcus Beasley, who played for PSV in the 2005 semifinals. He leads all players with 22 appearances for PSV and Rangers.
