Fire's Pause 'does the dirty work'

I had the chance to watch Logan Pause play up close while he was at the University of North Carolina and I was an assistant at Duke University.

He was the consummate team player, and was a jack-of-all-trades for UNC in the midfield and in the back. Glenn "Mooch" Myernick had selected him for his US Olympic Team, and he left UNC after his junior year to head to the MLS.

Luis Arroyave of the Chicago Tribune wrote a great piece on Pause, and references his ability to do the little things in a team to make them successful.

"He takes his job serious and never takes a play off," midfielder John Thorrington said.
